Our Feedback
Thank you for the careful delivery of herb plants. They arrived healthy and happy. I ordered without paper instructions. Could you let me have instructions online? I am not successful in finding them. Many thanks!

Description

Sometimes known as the Windflower or Poppy-flowered Anemone, these are beautiful and easy to grow, and great as a spring flower.

Once very popular, the Anemone is now little grown, which is a pity as it is ideal for late winter/early spring cut flowers if grown under cloches. Grown conventionally in the garden these flower from early May to June.

This selection is not just a standard mixture but a stunning blend of varieties to give a splendid colour mix that includes rose, blue, white in both double and single flowers.

These can be grown all year round so give them a go. They will not disappoint.

  • Hardy corm.
  • Excellent for cut flowers.
  • Flower at different times of year depending on planting time.
  • Flower at approximately 12" (30cm) tall.
  • Plant the funny shaped corms 3" (7.5cm) deep (there is no wrong or right way up) 8" (20cm) apart in order for them to grow close and thick suppressing weed growth.
  • Plant in April for June and July flowering.
  • Plant in June for September flowering.
  • Plant in September in mild areas or under cloches for late winter and early spring flowering.
  • Can also be grown in pots and containers.
  • Corms can be lifted and dried should you wish or left in the ground, in which case they will flower annually in the spring.
