Our Feedback
Thank you for my first order from your company. My herbs look healthy, but a little battered, but that was probably due to Royal Mail (Bless them!) for not reading alternative delivery instructions, as the plants arrived a day late due to the fact that the parcel had to be taken back to the Royal Mail depot for me to make alternative delivery arrangements. Unfortunately, I can't plant my herb plants today, due to the fact that it's raining; so they're having a good drink to recover from their Royal Mail ordeal. I will definitely order from the Victoriana Nursery Gardens again :-)

Catching Our Breath...

It has been an incredibly busy year for us - we haven't seemed to stop since coming back after the Christmas break...

But now, as the planting and sowing season takes its natural early Summer break, we get a chance for a break too! Not a break in the true sense of the word - more a chance to draw breath, take stock of where we are and plan for the weeks and months ahead.

The warm weather has meant that everything in our veg tunnel is growing at an incredible rate - it looks like we're on target for our Tomato Tasting Day on the 16 August and should have just under 80 varieties on taste. Similarly the Chillies and Peppers are starting to get into their stride now, ensuring our September Chilli Fest will be a more than hot event! Full details of both of these can be found on our Forthcoming Events page - do please come along if you can!

Outside the veg garden has also caught up from our late start and now, like everyone else, we can start to reap the rewards - the 'hungry gap' has most certainly passed!

Of course the crazy weather patterns continue; a week on from recording our July video clip in shorts and the sweltering heat we are back to cold, wet and grot. But what would we do if we couldn't moan about the weather! And talking of moaning, be sure to follow all our antics at the nursery on Twitter @Victoriana_NG - for daily updates and nursery news tweeted with a grin.
