Our range of chilli seeds and plants, along with our selection of sweet peppers, are so extensive that they've got their own category here on our website. Over the years, Victoriana's own Shirley family has tried and tested a multitude of chilli and sweet pepper varieties, helping to bring our customers the best possible choice of seeds or plants for home growing.

Taste has been a driving factor in the final listings that you see here, and if you have a preference for milder chilli peppers or are looking for something with more kick, then our chilli heat guide is on hand. The heat guide is based on the internationally recognised Scoville Heat Scale, and we've provided a practical listing to help you choose the right variety of chilli pepper according to your preferences.

If you're armed with the know-how beforehand, we believe that sweet peppers and chilli plants are actually relatively easy to grow in the milder climes of the UK - much easier than tomatoes! You can be sure that we not only take the time to select the best varieties, but our seeds are of the best quality too. We are DEFRA registered seed packers, and harvest our pepper and chilli seeds fresh, taking the time to clean and verify all of our seeds before they are packed using traditional methods.
