Our Feedback
Hello, I received my gooseberry bush and some Lily of the Valley plants this afternoon. I only placed the order over the weekend, your service is amazing and the plants arrived in good condition (not surprising given the packaging!!) they are already planted and watered well. I can't wait for November and the rest of my order, ever so glad I found your site. Look forward to buying from you again. Thanks, Anne p.s. your shredded paper as a mulch is inspired.

Our citrus trees for sale have been specially selected to bring you some of the best varieties of lemon tree, orange tree and lime tree available.
Taste is the most discerning factor throughout our selection, and all citrus trees listed within this category can be grown in containers; for many this is essential as they require protection and heat throughout the year - and in containers can be moved around under protection as required. More...
You don't have to live in a Mediterranean climate to enjoy citrus trees all year round - as long as you have a warm, sunny spot inside or under cover (think greenhouse, glasshouse or polytunnel), you're all set to grow your own citrus trees. Whether you're specifically after a lemon tree, orange tree or lime tree, you can look forward to your first home-grown yield with one of our young container grown trees, supplied direct from our family-run nursery in Kent. All citrus trees that we sell are self fertile (self-pollinating) and can be grown as single trees in containers, and depending on the variety should produce fruit from around early winter through to spring.
Lemon trees, lime trees and orange trees - in fact, all citrus trees - require fertile, well-drained soil and a warm, sunny position. Lemon trees, lime trees, orange trees, and grapefruit trees are not hardy, with frosts and cold weather causing irreversible damage to blossom, fruits and foliage. This means that in Britain, any citrus fruit needs to be grown under protection during the Winter.
And although we've done our best to provide you with citrus trees that produce the best tasting fruits, it's worth noting that the amount of heat that a citrus tree receives can have a profound effect on the taste of the fruit. Growing your citrus tree in a container will enable you to move the tree around during the year - bringing it outside to a warm, sunny spot in summer if required, and moving inside to a suitably heated position - but make sure that the plant is never allowed to completely dry out. Likewise, a waterlogged citrus tree will also fail to thrive!
Grow your own oranges and lemons in the UK with this collection. Easy to grow they just require Winter frost protection (a conservatory is great).
