Our Feedback
Thank you very much for the Orange tree complete with flowers and baby oranges. You truly are a Victorian nursery I used to pack all the trees I sent out by rail using straw bundles similar to yours. Actually we used long straw and no outer polythene. We also used twine macramed on the outside to hold the bundle together. There is nothing wrong with your packing. It remided me of the old days. I am 78. Now I have to find a suitable container whivh no doubt will be expensive. Versailles sell them and a pottery in the south of France makes the other tradional type. I was a bit surprised when I visited Kew Gardens, that they did not have one single orange tree in their orangerie. Lovely web site and lovely young orange tree in perfect order.

The Hazel tree – also known commercially as the Cobnut or Filbert tree, with commercially cultivated nuts larger than their wild Hazel counterparts – are fantastically robust trees that, once established, require little maintenance. When planted in groups, the Cobnut tree or Filbert tree is also an ideal candidate for hedging and shelter, and when sustainably pruned or coppiced, the cuttings – commonly referred to as hazel poles – find a wide variety of uses within the garden.
Our Cobnut and Filbert trees are supplied as bare root plants during the winter and spring, potted during the summer. They can be pruned and used for hedging or kept as 5–7 foot trees, making them suitable for smaller gardens.
A heavy bearing variety that produces large clusters of gorgeously sweet nuts. Perfect for eating green or allowing to ripen fully. Partially self fertile.

The traditional Kentish Cobnut - is actually a Filbert! Large flattened nuts are produced in profusion. Vigorous in habit and heavy cropping.
