This really is a beautiful evergreen that forms a mound of puckered purple leaves; as a ground cover plant this is wonderful for drifting between other contrasting foliage plants.

But the real treat comes later Spring / early Summer when wiry stems rise high above the foliage and are topped with tiny pinky white bell-shaped flowers. On mass they look like dainty clouds.

A beautiful evergreen that forms a mound of puckered green leaves which are topped with small bell-shaped flowers in shades of pink in late Spring to early Summer. Perfect for drifting as a ground cover, the wiry stems of flower also make a lovely cut flower.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Thrive in a moist but well-drained soil.
  • Prefer sun or partial shade.
  • Grow to approximately 10" (25 cm) tall. Flowers rise to approximately 2 feet (60 cm).
  • For ground cover purposes plant 10" (25 cm) apart.
  • Makes a good cut flower.
