Picked regularly this will produce an abundant crop of small cucumbers with a great flavour and crunch - ideal in salads or perfect for lunch boxes (school or 'grown-up').
If picked small enough these are also great for pickling, and that 'crunch' we've already mentioned remains.
Both powdery and downy mildew tolerant, this 'all female' variety also has excellent resistance to gummosis and cucumber mosaic virus.
Primarily for growing under protection this variety will also fair well in a sheltered spot outside. Being an all female variety, it is best to remove the male flowers (identified by not having a tiny fruit behind the flower). If male flowers are left on these may pollinate the flowers causing the fruits to become bitter to taste.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
