Thank you for my lovely mixed lettuce plants, larger than I expected, look healthy and shiny and smelling delicious! Planted out today and now enjoying the rain......

If you're a little limited for outdoor space and can't decide whether to plant an eating apple tree or a cooking apple tree, then the good news is that you can have the best of both worlds! Dual purpose apple trees - or eating and cooking apple trees - provide fruit that can be eaten straight from the tree, or used in pies, sauces, tarts, crumbles and more.
What's more, many of the eating/cooking apples come from self-fertile trees, so those with really limited space won't struggle to produce a sizeable yield. Supplied as pruned bare root trees in the dormant season and potted in the summer, direct from our Kent nursery.
