Supplied as a pot grown plant approximately 2 feet (60 cm) tall including pot.
This Product is Available Now.Sometimes known as the 'Hardy Kiwi' (as they can stand temperatures as low as -25°C (-13°F) these tough plants are also known as the 'Baby Kiwi', 'Cocktail Kiwi' or 'Kiwi Berry'.
Developed in New Zealand by crossing Actinidia arguta cordifolia and Actinidia melanandra it resulted in this dark red fruited variety - both the skin and flesh. This really is a variety to grow in full sun - as the more sun the plant has the darker red the fruits are.
Fruits are fairly large and almost cylindrical, tapering to a point. Another benefit of this variety is that after picking the fruits continue to stay firm and do not bruise that easily, making it perfect for those who want to sell or short term store.
