Old English Pinks Seed

The origin of this strain goes back more than 300 years.

Sweetly perfumed, they are well suited for bedding schemes as well as cut flowers producing shades of pink, white and almost crimson.

Can also be brought into early flowering if grown under cloches.

• Hardy Herbaceous Perennial.
• Excellent for Cut Flowers.
• Flowers July August.
• Grows to approximately 12" (30 cm) tall.
• Sow February to late June, in seed trays and just cover. 
• Germinate and grow on under protection. 
• When large enough to handle prick out (transplant) into individual pots or module trays.
• When rooted through and more mature harden off and plant out after the risk of any further frosts, planting 12" (30 cm) by 12" (30 cm) apart.
• Flower petals are edible.

• Can be used to soothe and calm nervousness or anxiety.
• Can be used to treat eczema.
