Our Feedback

I just wanted to say how delighted I am with the service I received with my recent order! It is very heartening to know in this time of postal strikes and often lacklustre customer service in so many of our industries that there are still those whom perform to a very high standard. I am 100% satisfied. 24 hours or less from finding your website to delivery! Thank you to all concerned!

Gorgeously sweet when cooked and particularly good for curries!

Red Brunswick is attractive for garnishing and salad rings as it produces distinct crimson rings against the white flesh of the onion when sliced - it is mild enough to be eaten raw but still has good flavour when cooked.

An old, well tried and tested variety that you can rely on.

Onions are medium to large in size in not somewhat flat in shape. Consistently this variety crops very well and stores exceptionally well and will keep well into Spring.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects if allowed to 'go over' and flower (so if you have room leave any plants in that have gone too far rather than pulling them out straight away).

  • Set out late March onwards (the later planting out is left the smaller the resulting onions will be, though worthwhile crops can still be produced from plantings as late as early July).
  • Set out 9" (23 cm) apart in rows 15" (38 cm) apart.
