Thank you for your reply. The plant arrived today, looking so very healthy. Thank you so much for sending it so safely! It will be planted in my daughters herb bed, which is part of my wedding present to her and husband. As they love food, they will be thrilled with this beautiful, architectural, fruit producing plant! Thanks again.

This variety remains un-excelled and was first grown by Mr Shirley senior more than 50 years ago. Quick and very easy to grow, this reliable variety produces dark green leaves with a mild flavour.
Excellent in salads, for garnishing, or just a few on your plate accompanying cheese!
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects if allowed to 'go over' and flower (so if you have room leave any plants in that have gone too far rather than pulling them out straight away).
