A juicy homegrown pear from your own pear tree is something to be savoured. So if you have the space, we thoroughly recommend that you make room for a pear tree!
Pear trees are easy to establish and our pear trees for sale will cope well with the unpredictable British climate. Supplied direct from our Kent nursery, our pear trees are supplied as bare root trees during the dormant season and potted trees during the late Spring and Summer. More...
Delicious and juicy, a pear from your own pear tree cannot be beaten in terms of succulence and flavour! We've chosen a small but perfectly formed selection of only the best pear trees to include in our listings - each of which offer their own tangible nuances in flavour, colour and texture. Heritage varieties are the mainstay of our pear tree listings, thanks to their reliable cropping, and most importantly, their excellent taste. But we also supply Asian Pears - a virtual unknown newcomer within the UK but a reliable and disease-resistant plant that, depending on the variety, will produces large or medium round juicy fruits with a pear-like taste.
So whether you're looking to grow your own pears for cooking, eating raw (dessert pears), need a self fertile variety that can produce fruit under its own steam, or perhaps just want a good 'all rounder', then you'll find exactly what you need within our listings. Not sure which pear tree is best for your allocated growing space? Then why not drop us an email or call our sales line and we'll find the best variety to suit your needs, your location and your intended use!
Each pear tree we sell is supplied as a bare root tree during the dormant season, although we may be able to supply a pot-grown plant during the summer months. Our pear trees are grafted onto Quince A rootstock, which means they're best suited for growing as bush trees or as espalier pear trees. Your pear tree will arrived pruned and ready to plant, but if you would like your pear tree pruned in a specific way - for instance, as an espalier pear tree if appropriate - then don't hesitate to contact us directly.
