Available from APPROXIMATELY mid JuneIs this a gage or a yellow plum? In America, where it originates from, it is known as the Jefferson Gage.
This is a lovely variety producing large pale yellow-green fruits with a really juicy flavour. Fruit ripens over a period of a week or so at the end of August, giving the added benefit that they are not 'all ready at once'.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
