Description

Named 'Orange Feathers' due to its wonderful frilly orange flowers, its proper name is the somewhat less attractive 'Flore Pleno' - though many will know it as the Spanish Poppy.

Whatever you chose to call it, this pretty plant produces masses of double flowers on multiple stems almost in an endless succession. We cannot recommend this variety highly enough.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Flower July-September.
  • Grows to around 18"-2 ft (45-60 m) tall.
  • Plant 14" apart.
  • Thrives in full sun.
  • Prefesr well drained soils - is particularly good on poorer soils.
  • Perennial in habit.
  • Will readily self seed.
