Description
In less than 24 hours this apparently lifeless and dead in appearance 'ball' of shrivelled up fern leaves will burst into growth! Truly a miracle of nature and one could say a living fossil! This plant has survived since it first evolved in the Cambrian Period of Earth's creation 570 million years ago - and like all life forms developed from algae.
Kept in its dry 'dead' state (as we dispatch it) it will remain so until you place it in a bowl with pebbles and rainwater. Within 24 hours it comes alive! Should you prefer you can grow in a growing medium. If you let it dry out it will curl up into the dried up ball as you received. It will re-awaken in a few days if you repeat the procedure or similarly you could leave it for a week, a year, 10 years or even longer!
