Our Feedback
I wanted to thank you for delivering the "Golden Wedding Anniversary" rose to our friends in Lincoln on their actual Anniversary. It was such prompt and excellent service. They were thrilled with the rose and I am very happy with the service. I shall certainly use you again.

Description

An old-fashioned favourite in a grand mix of colours. These have been a popular garden plant and cut flower since the 17th century so popular due to their stunning flowers and gorgeous scent. They also make a lovely subject for winter flowering in the cold greenhouse.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Tender annual.
  • Excellent for cut flowers.
  • Flowers June - September.
  • Grows to approximately 15" (38 cm) tall.
  • Sow February - April in seed trays and just cover.
  • Germinate and grow on under protection. Reducing growing on temperature after germination will encourage seedling colour differentiation as only the paler yellow / green seedlings will go on to produce double flowers (the dark green will produce single flowers so disregard).
  • When large enough to handle prick out (transplant) into individual pots or module trays.
  • When rooted through and more mature harden off and plant out after the risk of any further frosts, planting 12" by 15" (30 cm by 38 cm) apart.
