Tomato Plant Sungold

A very popular golden coloured cherry tomato.

The flavour of these fruits is lovely due to their high sugar content and they are juicy. The plants produce lots of fruits and are reliable with good disease resistance, so why not include them in your lunch box as well as you evening salads!

F1 Hybrids and those who produce them are often seen as the enemy (and for good reason in some cases!); but this variety really proves the benefits that can arise from hybridisation and, no doubt, the good that Gregor Mendel (1822-1884) hoped for in his groundbreaking works - yes, hybridisation and F1 Hybrids really do go that far back in time.

• This is an indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
• For best yields stop at 6th truss if growing under protection (4th outside).
• Whilst the best crops will be grown under protection, this variety can also be grown outside.
