Our Feedback
Hello Victoriana Team,
I received my order in first class condition and the lavender is nicely planted now. Steve (My husband) is going to use the mustard on the allotment over the weekend.
I just had to let you know that we are as pleased as punch with your company and with the goods that we have ordered.
It is so nice to congratulate a company that works so hard to please everyone.
Many thanks again for the splendid service - Keep up the good work.
Julie Marriott, Nottinghamshire
We're more than happy to impart over 100 years' combined experience of water gardening to our customers.
From pond planting, to pond care and pond life, we've got the knowledge and the know-how, and our listing provides some of the best pond plants and marginals for a well-balanced water garden. More...
Throughout the different generations here at Victoriana, we've accumulated almost a century's worth of combined practical knowledge of all aspects of pond life, water gardening and aquaculture. Suffice to say, we can be considered as specialists in this popular aspect of gardening, and our water gardening listing reflects this.
If you have the capacity, then we thoroughly advocate the addition of a pond into your garden design scheme. Whether small or large, a pond or water garden becomes a beneficial feature in terms of plant varieties, sound, texture and visiting wildlife. In fact, even the smallest of ponds or bog gardens will attract a whole host of new life into your back yard, from small native birds, amphibians and colourful insects, to hedgehogs and larger mammals.
Children, of course, will also find ponds of shapes and sizes - and water gardening itself, a hugely rewarding and educational experience, as the pond offers a whole new underwater world for them to explore and understand.
Water gardening is as much about management as it is about picking the right plants and keeping them in check. Whatever its size, a pond must be well balanced to ensure that it thrives and survives. We offer a good variety of marginals and pond plants that will help you to achieve a natural balance in your water garden, and of course we are more than happy to take the time to advise you on all aspects of pond care. It's also worth mentioning that we do not sell UV lights or filtration, quite simply because we do not deem them necessary in a well-balanced pond!
For those unable to achieve clear water that's free of blanket weed, we have some naturally based remedies to help resolve the problem. And if your fish have fallen victim to a heron raid, then you'll be pleased to note that we also supply an excellent protection system, based on a discrete electric fence.
