Old English Marigold SeedCalendula officinalis 'Dandy', 'Orange King', 'Indian Prince'Back in the 1940’s and 50’s these were very popular cut flowers hardly seen these days. A mix of three distinct varieties that we are sure will delight you. On a culinary note, the petals can be used raw in salads to bring a dash of colour – or dried and used as a saffron substitute. Hardy Annual. Sow mid Spring outside where they are to flower. Sow thinly ½” deep in rows 12” apart. Thin to 9” apart. Supplied as a packet of approx 150 seeds.
