A popular eater in Victorian times with a nutty aromatic flavour. Good keeping qualities and both disease and scab resistant.

Season of use December - February.

First introduced in 1821, Surrey, UK.

Requires a pollinator (another apple).

Grown on MM106 root stock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 12-15 feet but can easily be kept at a height of 6-8 feet.

Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4-5 feet tall (including roots).
