Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots..

One of the best early apples best eaten straight from the tree. Red fruit have a pleasantly sharp flavour.

Season of use August - September.
First introduced in 1949, Essex, UK.
Self Sterile - requires a pollinator (another apple).
Grown on M26 rootstock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 8 - 12 feet (2.4 - 3.65 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Thank you so much for my BILO-TECHNICA it has started to work already and I think it has only been in the pond for a couple of weeks! I wish I had taken a photograph of my green pond water to let everyone see how bad it was! I can now see my fish and I have not fed them since putting the bag in the pond.
