A fine eating apple needing little description. Firm and crisp. Performs best in a warm situation.

  • Season of use November - April.
  • First introduced in 1868, Australia.
  • Self Fertile - but pollination by another apple will maximise yield.
  • Grown on M26 rootstock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 8 - 12 feet (2.4 - 3.65 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots.
