Apple Tree 'Howgate Wonder'Malus domestica 'Howgate Wonder'
A cross between Newton Wonder and Blenheim Orange. An excellent cooking variety - and also regularly used for showing. Season of use October - March. First introduced 1915, Isle Of White, UK. Requires a pollinator (another apple). Grown on MM106 root stock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 12-15 feet but can easily be kept at a height of 6-8 feet.
