Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots.

A large, juicy, red flushed eating apple with a sweet honey flavour. Produces heavy crops of large apples.

Season of use November - January.
First introduced 1943, USA.
Self Sterile / Triploid - requires a pollinator (another apple) - and will not itself pollinate other apples.
Grown on M26 rootstock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 8 - 12 feet (2.4 - 3.65 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
