A dark red eating apple with crisp white flesh. This apple really has a good bite.

Very easy to grow and a good pollinator for others.

  • Season of use October - January.
  • First introduced 1926, Canada.
  • Self Fertile - but pollination by another apple will maximise yield.
  • Grown on MM106 rootstock for an ultimate (un-pruned) height of 12 - 15 feet (3.65 - 4.6 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots.

Just to say we were very pleased with our order that arrived last week. Lovely to see such well grown heathly young plants which were perfectly packaged. Thank you, we will definately order from you again.
