Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots.

Biting through the burgundy-red thin skins of this variety you will find deliciously juicy 'melt in your mouth' white flesh - so much so that the juice will dribble down your arm!

Ripening early, this is a very reliable and heavy cropper.

Season of use early August.
Self Fertile.
First introduced 1860, Hertfordshire, UK.
Grown on St Julien A rootstock for an ultimate height of 12 - 15 feet (3.65 - 4.6 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Supplied as a bare root tree pruned to approximately 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall including roots.
