This is a traditional and native hedging mix reminiscent of English hedgerows of old. Protective to property and land alike and so beneficial to nature's wildlife. For birds to nest, insect life and small mammals like hedgehogs and dormice this hedge will help conserve our fast diminishing precious wildlife. Our conservation hedge consists of an equally balanced mix of Field Maple, Hazel, Dogwood, Guelder Rose and Wayfaring Trees. Plant 18" apart. Over half the species in this mix are recommended by the RHS to be excellent attractants and nectar sources for bees and other beneficial insects. Supplied as bare root plants approximately 2 - 3 feet (60 - 90 cm) in height including roots.
