Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

RHS Award of Garden Merit

6" – 8" diameter pale mauve-pink flowers (fading to white with time and/or strong sun) with a deep purple-pink bar. The flowers need protection from full sun to prevent fading and so a semi-shade spot is best with a cool root run.

Flowers May, June and September.

Approximate maximum height 12ft (requires support).

Raised by Moser etc Fils, France and first introduced in 1897.
Parentage: Clematis ‘Belisaire’ x Clematis 'Marcel Moser'.

Supplied as a pot grown plant grown in a 7cm pot.

Pruning Clematis Nelly Moser

Although no regular pruning is required, you may wish to remove any dead tips from the stems. This will keep the plant looking tidy. In late February or early March, working down from the tips, follow each stem until you come to a pair of live buds. Remove the end of the stem by pruning just above this point.
