Clematis 'Piilu'![]() Clematis 'Piilu'2"-5" diameter mauve-pink double or semi double flowers with a purple red bar in May-June. Single flowers in August and September. Prefers full sun with a shady cool root run. The name 'Piilu' means 'Little Duckling' hence this variety sometimes being known by that name. Flowers May, June, August and September. Approximate maximum height 6ft (requires support). Raised by Uno Kivistik, USSR / Estonia in 1984 and named in 1988. Supplied as a pot grown plant grown in a 7cm pot.

This will keep the plant looking tidy. In late February or early March, working down from the tips, follow each stem until you come to a pair of live buds. Remove the end of the stem by pruning just above this point. |
