Lemon grass is often used in Thai and Asian cooking and is an excellent complimentary herb to fish as it has a subtle citrus flavour.

- Reaches 6 feet (1.8 metres) tall.
- Greenish flowers with reddish tinge that appear in nodding clusters in Summer.
- Prefers moist soil.
- Prefers full sun.
