Coriandrum sativum 'Leisure'

Cultivated for more than 3000 years. Coriander is an invaluable herb for culinary use and an essential of Mexican cooking as well as other regional dishes. The root can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable. Seeds crushed are used for flavouring, used in baking and confectionery and as a spice.

Also used in Liqueur manufacture. Produce your own pot-pourri by adding a few crushed seeds to rose petals, rosemary, lavender and other scented herbs to impact a pleasing lingering subtle perfume to sitting room, office or bathroom.

Supplied as a packet of approximately 100 seeds.

How To Grow Coriander

Whilst you can sow directly in shallow drills in the ground when soil temperature is around 55°f - 60°f (15°C) better results are achieved by sowing directly in pots or seed trays in good seed compost.
Keep out of strong sun light until they have germinated and produced true leaves.
Plant out or pot on when the seedlings are large enough to handle.
