Lovage Seed![]() Levisticum officinalisA flavoursome useful plant that gives a very pleasant taste to the palate if a few crushed leaves are added to Whiskey! A yeasty celery aroma arises which is quite delightful. Lovage also makes a pleasant cordial. Perennial in habit the stems can be used as you would celery with cheese, in soups, stews or as a roast vegetable to accompany the Sunday joint. Supplied as a packet of approximately 85 seeds.

How To Grow Lovage Whilst you can sow directly in shallow drills in the ground when soil temperature is around 55°f - 60°f (15°C) better results are achieved by sowing directly in pots or seed trays in good seed compost. |
