It has to be acknowledged that in recent years there have been attempts to improve on the late Mr Russell's hybrids of this easily grown herbaceous plant that comes every year whatever weather may be ‘thrown at it'. We now offer the Russell special mixture that includes The Governor - ultramarine blue and white, Chatelaine - shades of pink and white, Noble Maiden - shades of white and yellow, My Castle - crimson and deep red shades, and Chandelier - warm shades of yellow. Flowers June to July. Supplied as compost block grown plants (supplied in mixed colours only).
