This is a very much neglected and so worthwhile garden plant with greater hybrid vigour than any of the present day annual sweet peas. We refer to our stock as the 'Mother of Pearl' selection since the flowers in 'half light' early morning or before dusk seem to emit an almost luminescent glow or sheen which is most attractive.

They quickly reach a height of 6-8 feet and can be trained over an archway, against trellis, fence, sunny wall or grown over a floral cage - so popular in Victorian England.

You can also grow in balcony pots or tubs to cascade like a waterfall of foliage to be smothered in bloom. A good rich loam suits these well. The flowers in shades of deep rose pink, white and purple rose are excellent for cutting. Perfume is barely noticeable - unlike our Spencer Sweet Peas.

Flowers June to September.
Grows to approximately 6-8 ft (requires support).
Thrives in full sun and a rich soil.
Plant 18" apart.

Supplied as compost block grown plants (supplied in mixed colours only).
