Also known as the Sunrose or Rushrose, these are in reality a dwarf shrub or 'subshrub' very closely related to their larger cousins - Cistus. Once established they will prove tolerant to even the longest droughts - and they always thrive in a full sun position. To many their wiry foliage can look untidy - but this is a plant to grow for its beautiful display of flower in colours ranging from the vivid to the pastel. Perfect for rockeries or border planting alike these can grow upto around 18" in height or can be pruned and kept smaller should you wish. Thrive in full sun and a well drained soil. Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects. Supplied as compost block grown plants.
