We cannot recommend this pretty new strain of primrose enough ! So called the Rosebud Primula as the attractive flowers form offering the appearance of a bouquet of Rosebuds - absolutely charming! Its not unusual for the first few flowers thrown each year to be single but the rest will emerge full double - in almost a swirl of colour. We grow these from mixed seed so expect to see flower colours from blue to red to purple to yellow. Flowering can start soon after Christmas and continue right through to May. Its not unusual to see the pretty flowers appear from melting snows - these really are tough! Thrive in full sun or partial shade and great for planting under trees and hedges.
