'Black Butte' should perhaps have been called 'Black Brute' due to the exceptional size of fruit that can be up to 12 grams in weight and 2" in length! An early season variety ripening from mid-July to mid August. Excellent Winter hardiness and the canes are both vigorous and trailing in habit.
