Tumbleberries![]() Fragaria vescaProven since our introduction in 1964 - the heavy cropping Remontant Strawberry that produces delicate sized fruit of superb flavour. Plant 10"-12" apart anytime (avoid planting when ground is covered with snow). Will even grow in semi shade. Can fruit in Winter given cloche protection. Described by Max Davidson in the Sunday Express as the little Strawberry with the big flavour. Seldom seen in England, but in France we have seen little baskets of these strawberries on sale everywhere all Summer and Autumn. Makes an excellent ground cover plant.
