A fairly recent introduction from the Oregon breeding programme. 'Black Butte' should perhaps have been called 'Black Brute' due to the exceptional size of fruit that can be up to 12 grams in weight and 2" in length

An early season variety ripening from mid-July to mid August. Excellent Winter hardiness and the canes are both vigorous and trailing in habit.

Self Fertile

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Supplied as a pot grown plant approximately 2 feet (60 cms) tall including pot.

Thank you for my most recent order, delivered on Wednesday. The quality is better than ever, if that's possible. May I also thank the young lady who took my order last Friday. As I often have difficulty in hearing on the phone I appreciated her clarity, calmness and product knowledge. Obviously happpy in her work. Many thanks.
