Supplied as a potted plant approximately 12" - 18" (30 - 45 cm) tall including pot.

Commercially Rovada is now the most widely planted cultivar of red currant planted - and for very good reason

Fruiting at the latter end of the Season it produces long strigs of large berries with a bright and attractive appearance. More importantly the flavour is outstanding.

Without training it will produce an open slightly spreading bush, but is also perfect for growing on wires or as a cordon.

Self fertile.

In bush form Rovada is best kept at around 4 - 5 feet (1.2 - 1.5 metres) tall.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
