The most exciting new hybridberry for many years; a tayberry without spines.

'Buckingham' is beleived to be virtually identical in every respect to the original Tayberry except for its spinelessness, producing consistently higher yields than Loganberries and the fruit is large - sometimes up to 2" in length; the fruit is at its best when it has matured to a purple red colour.

The cropping season is from early July to mid-August and the berries freeze well.

Self Fertile

Supplied as a pot grown plant approximately 2 feet (60 cms) tall including pot.

Hello, I received my gooseberry bush and some Lily of the Valley plants this afternoon. I only placed the order over the weekend, your service is amazing and the plants arrived in good condition (not surprising given the packaging!!) they are already planted and watered well. I can't wait for November and the rest of my order, ever so glad I found your site. Look forward to buying from you again. Thanks, Anne p.s. your shredded paper as a mulch is inspired.
