Out of interest, and to extend the Season, we offer a blend of both purple and white sprouting broccoli that does not come all at once - but will extend from February until May.Supplied as compost block grown plants.

How To Sow & Grow Sprouting BroccoliSet out, April - June 2½ ft apart in rows 2½ ft apart. Plant firmly, and in windy areas consider staking. Protect from Pigeons - Pigeons love Brassicas (so do Partridges!) Take precautions against the dreaded Cabbage White Butterfly - inspect your crop regularly, spray with our BioFriend Plant Defence regularly or use a physical barrier such as insect netting. Pick regularly so that more shoots grow. |
