In effect this is a 'giant' Cayenne chilli with fruits growing 8" (20 cm) long - and sometimes even longer. Maturing from green to a deep red colour the fruits have a lovely spicy heat which is probably a little below the conventionally sized Cayenne. We use these in our 'Dragon's Dribble' sauce that we make each year, and also squeeze them into our Chilli vodka - lovely. The plant grows to around 3 - 4 feet (90 - 120 cm) tall with a slender habit of around 2 feet (60 cm) wide.
