Our very careful evaluation reveals the problem and needs of the home gardener who is used to sowing one variety - often 50% or more that are grown are wasted as they all come at once - fine for the commercial grower who wants to clear his crop! Our blend of 15 distinct varieties includes old fashioned buttercrunch types, so called Iceberg or the crisp traditional Webbs Wonderful, Cos, Loose Leafed, Red Lettuce and Batavian types. From one planting you will have cropping spread over 8-9 weeks. Also ideal for salad leaf production as you can keep picking the young leaves. You will like this selection.

Plant every 2-3 weeks to ensure a succession of lettuces throughout the Summer and early Autumn.
Through the late Autumn and over-winter plants can still be planted outside, though will mature quicker if grown under protection.
