An Italian variety that produces 6" - 7" (16 - 17.5 cm) long fruits that are up to 2" (5 cm) in diameter at the shoulder.

Whether you chose to pick these green or allow them to mature to a bright red they are extremely sweet and crunchy. Perfect for stuffing and roasting, stir frying, or simply chopped into Summer salads.

Plants grow to around 3 feet (90 cm) tall with a spread of around 18" - 2 feet (45 - 60 cm).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Origin: Italy.
Heat: Sweet.
