Daucus carota 'Paris Market Atlas'

A much improved cultivar of the Paris Market type of carrot with almost round roots.

How To Sow & Grow 'Paris Market Atlas' Carrots

Sow February - April (under protection) or April to August outside in the open.
Sow thinly in rows 12" apart. Sow in ½" deep drills.
Thin out to 2"-3" apart when large enough to handle - make sure you eat the thinnings!

Top Tips
A useful tip to deter carrot fly is when you thin or hoe your carrots water the rows with our BioFriend Plant-Defence - this will keep the fly away! And always remember to take the thinnings away - thinnings left on the ground attract carrot fly. As an alternative, always keep plants covered with insect netting.
Carrots left in the open ground or stored in clamp beds should be strawed over to protect from frost.
