Developed in 1997 by our friends at the Chilli Pepper Institute of New Mexico State University (CPI), this is a mildly spicy Jalapeno.

Very high yielding, the pods are large and meaty making them perfect for stuffing, roasting or smoking.

Starting off bright green, the fruits mature to red - and measure an average of 2" - 3" (5 - 7.5 cm) in length and 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter. The plant has a compact and bushy habit, growing 2 - 3 feet (60 - 90 cm) tall with a spread of around 18" (45 cm).

Heat: Medium.
