An old, well tried and tested, variety with a mild and pleasing taste. Onions are medium to large in size and somewhat flat in shape. Consistently this variety crops very well.

Whilst gorgeously sweet when cooked it is is particularly attractive for garnishing and salad rings as it produces distinct crimson rings against the white flesh of the onion when sliced - and is miold enough to be eaten raw.

Red Brunswick also stores exceptionally well and will keep well into Spring.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects if allowed to 'go over' and flower (so if you have room leave any plants in that have gone too far rather than pulling them out straight away).

Supplied as a packet of approximately 75 seeds.

Thanks, raspberries and climbing strawbs arrived before Christmas. Didn't expect them to arrive till the new year. Quick or what? Brilliant website, but I haven't got the room for everything I'd like. Most things are in containers. Will have to make room somehow.
