Solanum tuberosum 'Edzell Blue'

This is a second early that was first introduced in 1915.

With its violet blue flesh and excellent flavour it is much sought after. It has a very floury and dry texture making it ideal for baking, frying, mashing and sautéing - though served as a boiled potato it can be disappointing (due to its floury nature).

Supplied as certified seed potatoes.
